While there is no official confirmation on casualties or injuries, India’s Minister of Civil Aviation, Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu, has assured the public that emergency response teams are actively working at the scene.
“We are on the highest alert. I am personally monitoring the situation and have directed all aviation and emergency response agencies to take swift and coordinated action,” Naidu said in a statement.
