Chief Bright Akpojotor, a prominent member of the All-Progressive Congress (APC), warmly welcomed His Excellency Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, the governor of Delta State, along with his entourage, into the APC family in Delta State.
During an exclusive interview with an Africa24hrs correspondent in Abuja, the capital of the nation, Chief Akpojotor expressed that the governor’s defection, along with that of the former governor Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa and other notable figures from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), signifies that the APC is a genuinely progressive platform.
He emphasized that under the leadership of His Excellency Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the nation is poised for greatness through visionary policies.
Chief Akpojotor also commended the leadership of Chief Festus Keyamo (SAN), the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace, for his pivotal role in facilitating the governor’s transition to the APC, stating that this exemplifies true leadership.
He expressed gratitude to Chief Keyamo for his dedication to the Deltan people and for ensuring they remain part of the progressive agenda set forth by the President.
Furthermore, Chief Akpojotor thanked God for blessing the Deltan people with a leader of Chief Keyamo’s caliber, who is a distinguished lawyer, development expert, bridge builder, political strategist, and advocate for the people.
He urged all Deltans to rally behind the governor, the honorable minister, and the President to secure an APC victory in the 2027 general elections, thereby continuing the developmental progress for both the state and the nation.
